Pakistan is a country located in South Asia. It is located along the Arabian Sea in the south and borders Iran and Afghanistan to the west and India and the People’s Republic of China in the far northeast. Pakistan is the sixth most populated country in the world and the second most populated Muslim country. It was established as a state in 1947 due to the partitioned British India.  The partition caused many Muslims to leave to Pakistan and many Hindus and Sikhs to stay in India. On August 14, 1947 Pakistan was formed and was founded by Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
